HSE Approved Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
HSE Emergency First Aid at Work is a 6hr course Approved by the Health and Safety Executive . The Emergency First Aid Course can be delivered as 1x6hrs or 2x3hrs on your premises(groups of 6+) All FANE trainers are suitably qualified and approvesd by the HSE to deliver both the Emergency First Aid course and the Full HSE 18 hr Approved First Aid at Work. All trainers have considerable first aid experience and come from a variety of sector backgrounds eg NHS, Social Care, Leisure etc, The Emergency First Aid course can be tailored to meet your needs, For example, First Aid for Sport, First Aid for Outdoor Activities, First Aid for Construction- in the Emergency First Aid course we can also incorportae additional topics thet are relevant to your sector
How long is the Course?-6hr course over 1-3 days
How Much Does it Cost?- £40 (ex vat)
Where is it held?- At our training Centre in Consett or on your premises for groups of 6+
Is it for me?- If you are and Appointed Person in your workplace it is advised by the HSE that you attend this course. It will give you the knowledge and skills to cope with an emergency until the paramedics arrive.
What wilI I learn?- you will gain an overview of all aspects of the course outlined below- along with plenty of practice of CPR.
Is there a test?- Yes! - you will be assessed on your practical skills and also complete a short multiple choice test- but don't worry you'll have plenty of support and opportunity to practice and prepare!
Will I get a Certificate?- Yes successful completion results in the HSE Approved FANE certificate which is valid for 3 years
